Lawyer Profile

Glenn was born and raised in Saskatoon and studied engineering and law at the University of Saskatchewan. Glenn articled with Bill Wardell, K.C., and was called to the bar in 2021. Glenn worked for nearly 20 years in resource extraction as a mechanical engineer, beginning his career in oil in SK/AB in the 1990s but he spent the bulk of his engineering career in uranium mining in northern Saskatchewan. Glenn shifted his focus to law to actively advocate for the environment and issues of social justice.

Glenn serves as a director on the board of the Saskatchewan Environmental Society and SaskEV. Glenn is also an active member of the National Farmers Union, Climate JusticeSaskatoon, the Saskatchewan Association for Environmental Law, and the Saskatchewan Coalition for Sustainable Development.

Glenn lives with his wife on a farm near Vanscoy, SK. Glenn practices regenerative agriculture techniques on his farm and he has been striving to reduce the emissions intensity of grain grown on the farm by incorporating minimum input, minimum tillage, intercropping, and green cover farming practices. Glenn first installed renewable energy on the farm in 2008 and he and his family have been driving EVs since 2018. Glenn also completed a home insulation retrofit in 2018 and turned off his natural gas to the farm in 2008, electing to heat with geothermal energy since then. Glenn estimates that their family and farm emissions have been reduced by more than 50% compared to 2006.

Glenn passionately advocates for a sustainable economy, equality, and strengthening our democracy. He has run as a candidate in numerous provincial and federal elections with both progressive parties and as an independent candidate. Glenn is committed to reconciliation and actively defends human rights related to equality.

Although relatively new to the practice of law, Glenn brings a diverse background of life experience and a thoughtful perspective focused on practical and cost-effective dispute resolution. Glenn’s practice is focused on Civil Litigation, Environmental Law, Administrative Law, Wills and Estates, Real Estate, Employment Law, Farm Law, Small Business Law, and Family Law.
