Joel obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2020 and was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2021. His practice interests include civil litigation, employment law and wills and estates.

Prior to attending law school, Joel worked as a labourer in Saskatoon's construction industry. This experience has given him a unique perspective on labour and employment matters.
