  • Employment standards;

  • Union representation issues, including failure to represent.

 

Wardell Gillis can assist you with proactive planning regarding matters in the workplace, such as developing a workplace harassment prevention policy or proactively addressing an employee’s performance issues, and we can also assist you after an event, such as an employee complaint or a termination of employment, has occurred.  For example, we can assist with quantifying an employee's damages resulting from a wrongful dismissal and help capture the relevant information in a Statement of Claim.

 

Wardell Gillis represents employees and employers under both The Saskatchewan Employment Act, The Saskatchewan Human Rights Code, the Canada Labour Code, the Canadian Human Rights Act, and the Employment Equity Act.
